I've spent years working in the events industry — across experiential, corporate, and live events — and one thing never changed: keeping up with what was happening required endless tab-hopping between a dozen different publications, newsletters, and LinkedIn feeds every morning.

I hold an MSc in International Event Management from the University of Surrey, and that academic lens on the industry gave me a sharper appreciation for just how fragmented the information landscape is. Brilliant intelligence exists across BizBash, Skift Meetings, Exhibition News, Event Marketer, and dozens of other outlets — but there was no single place that pulled it all together into something an event professional could read in five minutes.

That problem is what led me to build EventBrief. Every morning, EventBrief scans 15+ industry sources and distils them into the five stories that matter most — delivered as a concise daily briefing designed for busy professionals who need to stay informed without losing hours to the feed.

Beyond the briefing, I write The Debrief — a longer-form blog exploring event industry trends, the business of events, and what I'm learning while building EventBrief in public.
